2026 OCDA Grants



To ensure that career professionals can continue to engage in learning and utilizing the most up-to-date best practices in the field as well as promote that standards are being adhered and ethical and culturally competent practice is engaged in, the Ohio Career Development Association is excited to announce that with the support of the National Career Development Association's Tennessee State Grant, we are able to provide financial support to our members in the form of five (5) grants of $170. The grants are intended for activities related to:

 

Conference registration or travel
Workshop registration or travel
Professional training
Professional certification(s)/credential(s)

Membership to a relevant professional association

Proposals will be judged based on planned use of funds and support of the missions of OCDA and NCDA.

PLEASE NOTE: Grant winners will be shared on OCDA's website and social media channels. Additionally, grant recipients must submit a certificate of attendance and a write up highlighting how they utilized the funds, how it advanced their career/knowledge, some new best-practices/information learned in the training, and how they plan to serve others with the new knowledge obtained through their professional development participation.

Application Timeframe: Applications are open between November 3, 2026 at 12:00am and November 30, 2026 at 11:59pm.

Eligibility: Each OCDA member is eligible to submit one (1) grant application. Grant applications can be submitted for professional development events that members have already registered for but have yet to take place.

Grant award notifications will sent out within a few weeks of the application deadline.
