Professional Development Committee
Chairpersons: Sarah Grace McCollough (mccollsg@ucmail.uc.edu) & Dr. Justin Edwards (jedwar87@kent.edu)

• Organize and/or promote activities which shall focus on career development and professional advancement
• Administer the award of all CEUs
• Promote OCDA member involvement with the All Ohio Counselors Conference

Membership/Membership Engagement Committee
Chairpersons: Christine Yancey (christine.yancey@sinclair.edu), Marie Nicks (marienicks@navigatorcs.org), and Nathan Titkemeier (titkemeier.2@osu.edu)

• Promote membership in OCDA by marketing and assisting with monthly emails
• Recommend procedures for processing applications
• Assist in the planning of membership engagement events

Nominations and Elections Committee

Chairperson: Kaleigh Mahon (mahonkaleigh@gmail.com)

• Shall be responsible for carrying out the nominations and elections procedures

By-Laws Committee

Chairpersons: Calvin Wagner (calvin.wagner@sinclair.edu) & Christine Yancey (christine.yancey@sinclair.edu)

• Responsible for drafting proposals for amendments

Government Relations Committee

Chairpersons: Newton Kimberly (nskimberly@owu.edu) & Sarah JanTausch (sarah@valuesbasedcareers.com)

• Promotes state and national sharing of policy and practices that directly and indirectly impact career practitioners as well as reports on related research in the growing field of career development

Awards Committee
Chairperson: Angie McGinnis (angela_mcginnis@owens.edu) & Danielle Smith (smithdr@mtc.edu)

• Review nominations and select recipients for the Bob Windle Leadership Award, Outstanding New Professional Award, and the Outstanding Graduate Student Award
• The Chair appoints committee members on an annual basis
• Past recipients and OCDA members are invited to join the committee

National Career Development Month Committee
Chairpersons: Felicia Wethington (felicia.wethington@sinclair.edu) & Sara Molski (molskis@mtc.edu)
· Promote November as National Career Development Month & encourage state-wide participation in NCDA’s Poetry & Poster Contest
· Assist in planning networking events during month of November

Archives Committee
Chairpersons: Michelle Norris (norris.83@osu.edu) & Taylor Lincicome (tslocum924@gmail.com)
· Responsible for maintaining the history of OCDA

Website Committee
Chairperson: Kaleigh Mahon (mahonkaleigh@gmail.com) & Dr. Austin Raines (araines@shawnee.edu)
· Solicits, posts, and maintains up-to-date content on the OCDA website

Newsletter Committee

Chairpersons: Ryana Munford (munford.2@osu.edu)

• Organizes quarterly issues of the OCDA Newsletter each fiscal year and corresponding with OCA for OCDA updates for various OCA newsletters
